Lift Off 2 keeps the core gameplay of the first game, challenging you to launch a rocket into space. You will start your exploring-space journey on Earth, activating the rocket with the main mission of bringing engineers to new planets. The game requires you to shoot the rocket as far as you can, landing on any planet in the universe. The further you go, the more coins you reach. Players can spend their virtual earnings in the game shop to upgrade their rockets and bring more engineers to space.
